Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia met Lea Gutiérrez, the newly-appointed Director General of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), who is on a working visit to Georgia.

During the introductory meeting, the parties reviewed the dynamics of cooperation between Georgia and the Asian Development Bank. The discussion covered projects already implemented with the Bank`s support, as well as ongoing and planned initiatives in the fields of infrastructure, municipal development, energy and other areas.

The Minister of Finance of Georgia briefed the visiting dignitary on the country`s current macroeconomic and fiscal indicators, as well as medium-term forecasts.

The meeting was attended by Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia and Lesley Bearman Lahm, ADB Country Director for Georgia.
