2025 Václav Havel Prize awarded to Ukrainian journalist and human rights defender Maksym Butkevych.

The information was released by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which noted that in 2025 the prize had two other finalists - journalist Mzia Amaglobeli from Georgia and Ulvi Hasanli from Azerbaijan.
