Supported by the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine was presented at the London Wine Festival

To promote awareness and increase exports of Georgian wine in the UK market, the National Wine Agency and the agency’s contractor company, Swirl Wine Group, organized a presentation of Georgian wine at the festival “The Ultimate CEE Wine Fair” in London.

The festival unites winemakers from Central and Eastern European countries. Guests of the event had the opportunity to taste various varieties of wine from nearly 20 Georgian wine-producing companies.

A Georgian wine masterclass was also held as part of the festival, featuring Georgian wines that have won various international competitions. The masterclass was attended by nearly 40 representatives from the media, commercial, and HoReCa sectors.

With financial support from the National Wine Agency, the Georgian wine marketing company in the UK, Swirl Wine Group, will be leading the campaign in 2026. As part of the campaign, tasting seminars are held in various cities across the UK; Georgian wine is presented at international exhibitions, and targeted advertising and media campaigns are being implemented.

It is noteworthy that in January-May of this year, up to 125 thousand liters of Georgian wine were exported from Georgia to the UK, which is 8% more than the same period last year.

One of the main directions of the National Wine Agency’s activities is the promotion and awareness-raising of Georgian wine in international markets. Since 2013, with the goal of market diversification, the agency has been carrying out targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in the markets of the Americas, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
