Regrettably, we can see that Brussels has become an obstructive factor in our relations with EU member states and that misinformation about Georgia is being filtered and spread through it. We can observe that disinformation originating from Brussels about Georgia is spreading into EU member states.

That is precisely why bilateral communication matters. I believe we had very substantive meetings. There is a genuine desire to maintain direct contact with our colleagues through face-to-face meetings and visits to their capitals…

At the meetings with representatives of Asian countries, all parties highlighted the acute crisis they are experiencing as a result of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. They are having to make various decisions to conserve energy, given that oil supplies are constrained, including shifting to remote working, and so forth. It is plain to see how a conflict arising in one region ripples outward and affects others.

Fortunately, through the actions of the Georgian government, we can see that these crises are passing us by. Whether it is the war in Ukraine or the crisis unfolding in the Middle East, circumstances that for other countries are a precondition for near economic collapse, Georgia, by contrast, is recording strong economic growth.
