We are pleased that Azerbaijan continues to be one of Georgia`s most significant trading partners, said the Georgian Prime Minister during a joint briefing with Azerbaijan`s President.

"The prospects for trade and economic collaboration were a key topic of discussion during the meeting with President [Ilham] Aliyev… We are delighted that Azerbaijan remains among Georgia`s top trading partners. We look forward to further deepening our trade and economic ties, including enhanced cooperation in attracting increased investments.

We have reaffirmed our readiness to sustain high-level dialogue and to broaden cooperation across various sectors.

I am confident that our collaboration will continue to develop for the benefit of our peoples and nations, and that President Aliyev`s visit will play a particularly important role in this process.
