Representatives from the Scientific-Research Center`s Organic Farming and Grapevine divisions participated in the "II Global Symposium on Chemistry, Biochemistry and Health Sciences" at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

In the scope of the symposium, the center`s scientists delivered presentations on the following topics: "Investigation of the Possibilities of Using Bentonite Clay-Sulfur Composites in Organic Agriculture", "Materials for Studying the Allelopathic Capabilities of Companion Plants in Mixed Crops", and "Development of Innovations in Viticulture to Maintain Ecological Balance". Discussed topics in the presented papers included the potential use of natural materials in organic agriculture, the practical significance of plant allelopathic properties in mixed crops, and innovative approaches to maintaining ecological balance.

These research efforts support environmental protection and sustainable agricultural practices.

The two-day scientific forum was jointly organized by the organization "Chemistry and Human Health" and the Institute of Agricultural and Membrane Technologies of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The event welcomed approximately 200 researchers, physicians, pharmacists, biotechnologists, and environmental specialists from 11 countries. The goal of the symposium was to share international scientific experiences, discuss current relevant topics, and strengthen international cooperation.
