Tbilisi Mayor responds to the media regarding the demand of three Polish MPs to sanction three television companies in Georgia.

As he said, just like the sanctions imposed by Great Britain, the demand of these MPs is devoid of arguments and reflects their political sentiments.

“Attacks and threats continue. I emphasize once again that they do not like the truth. We hear only blackmail. For example, Britain issued a sanction order regarding specific TV channels, but there were no arguments whatsoever. It was a political decision. When it comes to freedom of speech, a double standard is introduced here. They want only the kind of television to exist that suits them, so that only what is acceptable to them is broadcasted. This is far from democracy”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
