Georgia is a democratic state that can teach many OSCE member states, including a number of countries that initiated the Moscow Mechanism, democracy, human rights, tolerance, freedom of assembly, freedom of the media, media pluralism, political pluralism, democratic elections, etc. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.
“We are ready to hold a public discussion on this topic with everyone who claims objectivity… Georgia does not need ambiguity, but transparency. Georgia does not need total LGBT propaganda, but protection of family values and the interests of minors. Georgia doesn’t need constant chaos and disorder, but peace and stability. Georgia doesn’t need lies and hatred, but objective media. Georgia doesn’t need violence of the minority over the majority, but democratic rule of the majority. Georgia doesn’t need criminals in politics, but the rule of law in state governance. Georgia doesn’t need what the authors of the Moscow Mechanism demand, but what the Georgian citizens supported in the 2024 parliamentary elections.
This is peace, sovereignty and progress for our country. Our Government is acting and will continue to act in accordance with the will of the Georgian people”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
His remarks were aimed specifically at member states of the OSCE, including those behind the recent initiation of the Moscow Mechanism.
