Officers of Juvenile Affairs Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested a Jordanian citizen, S.A., born in 1980, on charges of domestic violence and lewd acts against family members.

The investigation into the case established that the accused person, with prior knowledge, systematically committed lewd acts against his own minor daughters. In addition to the mentioned, it is established that the person accused of the crime also physically abused his children. In case if minors told others regarding the mentioned facts, the accused person threatened to kill all three of his children.

As a result of immediate investigative actions, the employees of Juvenile Affairs Main Division arrested S.A. as an accused person.

The case is being investigated under Article 126 part II and 11(1) -141, part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning the term of imprisonment of up to 12 years.
