Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of Government Administration of Georgia met a delegation of US Congressional Staff from the Foreign Affairs Committee.

The meeting focused on relations between Georgia and the United States. Current developments in Georgia were discussed, with particular attention paid to steps taken by the Government of Georgia and its future plans to promote the country’s economic growth. Measures implemented in the fight against corruption were also addressed.

The importance of resetting US-Georgia relations was underscored during the meeting. Hope was expressed that the strategic partnership would be renewed and continue on the basis of a concrete agenda, taking into account the shared interests of both countries.
