Georgia is a leader in Europe in terms of economic growth. Prime Minister of the country said this during his speech at the presentation of the Tbilisi International Airport expansion project.
“Over the past 5 years, our average economic growth has been 9.3%, and our nominal economy has grown from USD 16 billion to USD 37.5 billion. Of course, this pace of development allows us to take even more and more active care of the development of tourism and aviation in the country.
Today’s event is an example of this. And this day gives us confidence that the pace of our development will accelerate even more in the future. I would like to thank everyone, our foreign partners, the Ministry of Economy, everyone who participated in the preparation of this agreement, and wish all of you success”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
