Officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 2 persons on charges of illegal purchase, storage and facilitating the sale of a large amounts of narcotic drugs.

As a result of search activities held in detainee`s homes and vehicles, law enforcement officers seized up to 4 liters of a liquid containing the narcotic drug "Alpha-PVP" prepared for sale and 16 packages of the same type of drug as evidence.

As a result of the investigative actions, the police also seized materials necessary for packaging narcotic drugs.

The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
