Officers of Marneuli Police Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested NI, born in 2008, who has been repeatedly exposed in the past, on charges of theft by a group with a prior agreement and his brother NI, born in 2009, was exposed.

The investigation established that the defendants illegally broke into a mobile phone store in Marneuli at night on December 14 of the current year, from which they stole 8 expensive mobile phones.

The investigation also established that the defendants sold some of the stolen phones to fellow villagers, and handed over the rest to various stores.

Law enforcement officers seized 4 stolen mobile phones as evidence. The investigation is ongoing under Article 177, Section II, Subparagraphs “A”, “B” and part III, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code, which envisages the imprisonment for a term of up to 7 years.
