Speaker of the Parliament will address the President of Georgia with a written request to convene extraordinary sessions on December 16-17.

As Shalva Papuashvili stated, a list of issues to be discussed at the extraordinary session will be sent to Mikheil Kavelashvili along with the letter.

The Bureau of the Parliament discussed new legislative initiatives and made a decision to begin their committee discussions.

The legislative initiatives envisage amendments to the Law on Civil Security, the Criminal Procedure Code of Georgia, the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Customs Code of Georgia, and others.

The Bureau session determined the lead committees for draft laws to be discussed in a simplified and expedited manner.
