We see clear double standards in the behavior of the European bureaucracy. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.
“They are quick to oppose interference in their own affairs, yet they are very actively meddling in Georgia’s. Not only are they interfering, but they are also attempting to hinder the country’s development, a truly disheartening phenomenon.
This situation highlights the challenging state of affairs within European bureaucracy today.
This approach needs to be changed. I cannot say to what extent this particular case will act as a catalyst for reforming their stance, but we remain hopeful that, overall, the processes within European institutions will improve. Otherwise, these very actions undermine their own credibility. It is precisely these double standards that are contributing to negative development trends within the EU. This affects democracy, human rights, economy”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
