A completely new destination, Venice, has been added to Kutaisi International Airport

Flights between Kutaisi and Venice have started. According to Levan Moseshvili, Director General of the Association of Georgian Airports, direct flights to another Italian city are an important stage in the development strategy of Kutaisi International Airport and further strengthen the existing air network.

"From today, a completely new direction - Venice - has been added to Kutaisi International Airport. Venice is the second new direction for our airport this year after Lyon.

Our strategic partner - Wizz Air continues to maintain its leading position in the Georgian aviation market: in 11 months of 2025, Wizz Air served up to 1.7 million passengers in Georgia and performed more than 4,900 flights from Kutaisi Airport", - said Levan Moseshvili.

340 passengers were on board the inaugural Venice-Kutaisi-Venice flight. Currently, 6 airlines operate direct regular flights from Kutaisi International Airport to 32 destinations in 16 countries.
