Police arrested 2 persons on drug charges in Adjara

Officers of Kobuleti Police Division under Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested two persons previously convicted of illegal purchase and possession of a particularly large amount of narcotics: B. V., born in 1989, and Z.B., born in 1980.

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

As a result of a personal search of the accused persons, law enforcement officers seized a particularly large amount of the narcotic drug "Methadone" as evidence.

The police have arrested both of them as accused persons. The investigation is ongoing under Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
