Officers of Gori Police Division of Shida Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested G.J., born in 2005, on charges of inflicting severe health injury on purpose.

The committed crime envisions up to 7 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person, on the basis of a conflict, inflicted an injury with a cold steel O.K., born in 1997 in the abdomen area and fled the scene of the incident.

The injured man was taken to a clinic, where he is receiving appropriate medical care.

Law enforcement officers arrested G.J. shortly after the incident, as a result of immediate activities.

The weapon used to commit the crime - a knife - has been seized as evidence. The investigation into the case is underway under Article 117, part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
