Police arrested 1 person for inflicting minor injuries to health on purpose

Officers of Vake-Saburtalo Police Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested N.F., born in 1991, on charges of inflicting minor injuries to health on purpose.

The investigation established that the accused person, based on a past conflict in Tbilisi, inflicted a less severe physical injury to S.Q., born in 1991, and fled the scene.

The injured man was taken to a clinic, where he received appropriate medical assistance.

Law enforcement officers arrested N.F. as a result of immediate activities.

The committed crime envisions up to 2 years of imprisonment. The investigation into the fact of inflicting a less severe injuries to health on purpose is underway under Article 120 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
