Customs officers, in coordination with MIA officers, discovered various types of medicines containing narcotics at Tbilisi Airport

Customs officers of the Customs Checkpoint of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance – "Tbilisi Airport" - in coordination with the officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, as a result of a joint operation, discovered a particularly large amount of various types of medicines containing narcotics hidden in hand luggage at Tbilisi International Airport.

Customs officers examined the aforementioned medications with a high-precision drug analyzer and found 21 Lyrica capsules and 28 methamphetamine capsules.

The case materials were transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia for further action.
