Kvemo Kartli police arrested 1 person for domestic violence

Officers of Gardabani Police Division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested R.B., born in 1975, on charges of domestic violence.

The committed crime envisions up to 3 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that R.B. physically assaulted his wife, S.K., born in 1990, during an argument and threatened to release footage of her private life. Law enforcement officers arrested R.B. as a result of immediate police activities.

The investigation is ongoing under Article 126, Part II, Subparagraph "b" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
