As a result of a joint operation, customs officers of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, in coordination with officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, discovered a particularly large amount of narcotics – “Clephedrone” hidden in a vehicle at the “Sadakhlo-Vehicle” customs checkpoint.

As a result of a detailed inspection (with an X-ray inspection scanner) of a vehicle driven by a foreign citizen A.V., entering from the Republic of Armenia, by an authorized person based on suspicion, up to one kilogram of narcotics were detected, which the law-breaking citizen had hidden in an air/moisture drying device, in a hermetically sealed package.

The case materials were transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia for further response.
