Imereti police seized a large amount of drugs - 1 person detained

As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Baghdati and Terjola Police Divisions of Imereti Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, arrested P.K., born in 1986, who has been convicted several times in the past on charges of drug crimes.

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

During the personal search of the detainees, law enforcement officers seized 27 packages of the drug "Alpha PVP” prepared for sale as evidence. Also, 4 packages of drugs were seized from various places indicated by the accused persons. In total, the police seized 31 packages of drugs.

The investigation is underway under Article 260, Part III, Subparagraph "a" and Article 260, Part VI, Subparagraph "a" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
