Batumi nominated for the European Four Seasons Leading Tourist Destination

Batumi has been shortlisted for Europe’s Leading All-Season Destination at the prestigious World Travel Awards.

The European Gala Ceremony will take place today, October 22, in Italy. Chairman of the Adjara Government, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, will attend the event.

This nomination places Batumi among such European cities as Budapest, Geneva, Munich, Salzburg, and Stockholm, competing for one of the most recognized awards in the tourism industry.

Since its inception in 1993, the World Travel Awards have sought to identify and celebrate excellence within the tourism sector.

Each year, hundreds of nominations are submitted, with thousands of nominees across various categories divided by country, making this a highly competitive and respected accolade.
