Adjara police detained person wanted by Interpol under the Red Notice

As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Sh.G., a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, born in 1990, who was wanted by Interpol under the Red Notice.

The detained Sh.G. was wanted under the Interpol Red Notice by the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Turkey on charges of illegal production and trafficking of drugs or psychotropic substances.

Law enforcement officers detained Sh.G. in Batumi as a result of investigative actions. Currently, extradition procedures envisioned by law are underway against the detainee.
