At the “Sarpi” customs checkpoint of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, 2 vehicles loaded with 19,980 kilograms of frozen chicken products and 1,000 kilograms of fish were stopped.
During the implementation of veterinary border quarantine control procedures, as a result of the inspection of the cargo, relevant specialists revealed the presence of unsatisfactory, health-hazardous characteristics, as well as a gross violation of transportation conditions. In addition, it should be noted that the marking/labeling on one of the products was inconsistent with the data on the accompanying documents.
In accordance with the legislation, the cargo was subject to return to the exporting country.
