Our response to criticism, including from foreign media, is very simple – we have peace in the country, we are moving forward economically, and we are developing. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

When asked by a journalist to evaluate an article by the French publication “Le Monde” regarding the protests in Georgia and criticism of the Georgian Government, he stated that he knows very well how all of this is managed.

“I am not interested in their assessments at all because both I and the majority of the Georgian people know very well how all of this is managed. Our response to all of this is very simple - we have peace in the country, we are moving forward economically, and we are developing. For us, this is precisely the fundamentally important part: that by absolutely every parameter, the country is moving forward. Obviously, challenges exist, but we are not afraid of them. We know very well what needs to be done in the coming years and what steps must be taken so that the country becomes even stronger and the population of our country feels greater prosperity”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
