Anitta Hipper’s verbal attack on the Government of Georgia is a desperate attempt to evade responsibility, writes Speaker of the Parliament on his Facebook page.

“The only thing Georgian society expects from the European Commission spokesperson is an apology for backing the rally organized to overthrow the government, during which participants stormed the Presidential Palace and injured 25 police officers. Her today’s verbal assault on the Georgian government is a frantic effort to dodge accountability.

As for the ‘Russians,’ the spokesperson should not doubt that, just as often as she chooses to inappropriately brand the Georgian people and their government as “Russian”, she will receive a fitting response”, - writes Shalva Papuashvili.
