Mayor of Tbilisi commented on the joint statement by US Senators Jim Risch and Jeanne Shaheen to the US presidential administration regarding deteriorating political situation in Georgia, stating that the senators were “under the influence of the global war party”.

“These individuals are also under the influence of the Global War party. We have stated many times, and I will reiterate that we support President [Donald] Trump in defeating the deep state.

How much he will succeed, we shall see. At the same time, we are ready to start relations anew. This is our message, our attitude, and our desire: to reboot relations in order to enable friendship and partnership, and, of course, this must be mutual, not one-sided”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
