President of Georgia will have the opportunity to address the 80th session of the UNGA as part of the high-level week, where he will introduce the priorities of our country to the world community - David Bakradze

Ambassador of Georgia to the United Nations said the President Mikheil Kavelashvili would introduce the country’s priorities to the international community at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as share the challenges and achievements that Georgia had.

“The President will introduce the priorities of our country to the international community, share the challenges that Georgia faces and the achievements that Georgia has had in ensuring peace and stability in a region full of challenges, as well as in economic progress.

A meeting will be held today with the UN Secretary General, who always highly appreciates Georgia’s commitment to the principles of the UN. The President of Georgia will have the opportunity to share with the Secretary General information on the current human rights situation in Georgia’s Russian-occupied regions. We will once again receive strong support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia”, - said David Bakradze.
