An official welcoming ceremony for the Georgian President is being held at the Turkish Presidential Palace.

Mikheil Kavelashvili, along with his delegation, is being hosted by Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

As part of the official visit to Ankara, leaders of the two countries are scheduled to meet face-to-face and in an expanded format. A joint statement will be made to the media after the meeting.
