Speaker of the Parliament has published on his Facebook page a letter he sent to the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Paweł Herczyński, in May, 2025.

"I am once again sharing the letter I sent to the EU Ambassador last May, in which I asked for just one thing: a public condemnation of the violence, hatred, and incitement of hatred by individuals funded and supported by the EU.

In response, we received silence and support for the attempt to overthrow the government on October 4.

Incitement, hatred, violence, and, as it now appears, fraudulent funding schemes, this is what `pro-Europeanism` has become today", - writes Shalva Papuashvili.
