Officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested foreign citizens: M.E., born in 1994, and R.A., born in 1997, on charges of illegal purchase and storage of narcotics in large quantities and illegal planting and cultivation of plants containing narcotics at different times.

During the personal search of the defendants and search activities held in their residential premises, law enforcement officers seized a particularly large amount of narcotics as evidence, including: cocaine, MDMA, clephedrone, herbal cannabis and dried marijuana.

Materials necessary for cultivation of narcotics were also seized.

The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 265 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
