US special envoy Steve Witkoff was meeting with Ukrainian negotiators again in the state of Florida, according to media reports. He is expected to brief them on his recent talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

Rustem Umerov is leading the Ukrainian delegation. He is the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. US President Donald Trump`s son-in-law Jared Kushner is also said to be taking part in the gathering.

Ahead of the meeting, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on social media that a key goal for his side is finding out the details of the Moscow discussions.

Trump told reporters on Wednesday that his team had a "reasonably good meeting" with Putin: "I think he`d like to be trading with the United States of America, frankly, instead of, you know, losing thousands of soldiers a week. But their impression was, very strongly, that he`d like to make a deal… But it is too early to tell what would happen next, as it takes two to tango".
