Changes will be implemented in the "Student Tuition Financing Program" from the fall semester of this year. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

"The scholarship for successful master`s students will increase from 562.5 GEL to 1,000 GEL per semester. A new program called "Young Scientists for Tbilisi" will also be launched.

We will finance young researchers who will work on solving the challenges of the capital and developing innovative ideas with research grants, and the identification of deficit areas will be carried out annually, taking into account municipal needs.

As for the tuition financing program for socially vulnerable, members of large families and students with disabilities, this year 1,280 socially vulnerable, more than 500 members of large families and up to 50 students with disabilities received funding", - said Kakha Kaladze.
