With financial support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of the contractor marketing company "ff.k Public Relations", wine professionals, journalists, bloggers, and influencers from Germany visited Georgia.

The 9-person group visited wine-producing companies and wine cellars in Kartli and Kakheti, tasted different styles of Georgian wine, and learned about the technologies and processes of making qvevri.

To promote Georgian wine and increase its export potential, the National Wine Agency began cooperating with the German company "f.k Public Relations" in 2021. The active promotion campaign continues this year. As part of the campaign, tasting seminars are held in various cities in Germany for wine professionals, representatives of the wine trade and consumers; Georgian wine is presented at international exhibitions, targeted advertising and media campaigns are carried out, and wine tours are organized in Georgia for media, sommeliers and sales representatives.

Germany is among the top five exporters of Georgian wine, with increasing sales. In January-May of this year, about 670 thousand liters of wine were exported from Georgia to Germany, which is 33% more than the same period last year.
