Our goal is to maintain strong and sustainable economic growth in the country - Vakhtang Tsintsadze

Our goal is to maintain strong and sustainable economic growth in the country. Such a statement made today the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, while commenting the rate of economic growth in October.

“Looking at the January-October period, the average economic performance over these ten months stood at 7.6%.

As in previous months, economic growth in October was notably diverse across various sectors.

In October, sectors such as information and communication, transport and warehousing, manufacturing, healthcare, financial and insurance activities, as well as real estate and other related industries, all contributed positively to the country’s economic expansion. Furthermore, during the January-October period, we observed positive trends in foreign trade that have supported this high growth rate, alongside record-breaking figures in tourism revenue. Furthermore, in October 2025, the turnover of VAT-registered enterprises increased by 7.0% compared to the same month last year. Additionally, 6,075 new enterprises were registered during this period.

From January to October 2025, exports rose by 6.8%, reaching a total of USD 5.8 billion, with domestic exports (excluding re-exports) growing by 4.6%.

Ultimately, our goal is to maintain strong and sustainable economic growth in the country, which is secured through the correct and consistent policies that the Georgian government continues to implement in support of economic development and stability”, - said Vakhtang Tsintsadze.
