I did not expect this type of action from the French Ambassador and this is all very bad. Such a statement the Mayor of Tbilisi made while commenting secret meetings between Sergi Kapanadze, Head of the Georgian Reform Association, and Olivier Courtauld, French Ambassador to Georgia.

According to Kakha Kaladze, Ambassadors of various countries are busy with Georgia`s internal political affairs, while the activities of ambassadors are related to diplomacy.

"To be honest, I did not expect this type of action from the French Ambassador. I had a meeting with him a few weeks ago. He directly said that he would be open and that there would be no interference in internal political affairs on his part, however, it turned out that he was secretly meeting with a representative of a violent group. When we see that ambassadors are interfering in the internal political affairs of the country, are busy with politics when they should be engaged in diplomacy, all this is very bad", - added the Mayor.
