Crucial visit to China will take place under Prime Minister`s leadership, Georgia will be represented with guest of honour status at China’s largest international import exhibition - Kvrivishvili

A significant visit to China would take place under the Prime Minister`s leadership, said today Georgia`s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

"Within the framework of the visit, several high-level meetings will be held, including with the Premier of the People`s Republic of China. New and important bilateral agreements will be signed, within the framework of which both trade and economic relations, as well as people-to-people ties between our two countries, will be strengthened.

At the same time, it is particularly significant that for the first time, Georgia will be represented with guest of honour status at China’s largest international import exhibition. Up to 40 Georgian companies will travel to China with us, and they will have the opportunity to promote products made in Georgia within the framework of the international exhibition.

A most important task for us is to ensure the export of Georgian products, and we will use this platform to see even more Georgian products on the Chinese market", - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.

Head of the Georgian Government will pay a visit to Shanghai at the invitation of the Premier of China, Li Qiang.
