The approval rating of French President Emmanuel Macron has fallen to 11%, the lowest level in history, Le Figaro reports.

Macron`s approval rating has fallen by 5 points in a month, matching François Hollande`s worst performance during the Fifth Republic.

According to local media, what the Elysee Palace has feared for months has happened: the president`s approval rating fell again this month, reaching the lowest level recorded by François Hollande, a level that was reached in September 2016.

In November 2025, Emmanuel Macron joined his predecessor in record unpopularity. Although he retains 71% of the Renaissance Party votes, he now only receives 53% of the votes of the Ensemble (MoDem, Horizons and Renaissance) and only 14% of the Republicans.
