Through joint efforts and cooperation, the world-famous brand Napoléon will be bottled in Georgia, which is yet another proof that foreign investors trust the business environment of Georgia - Kobakhidze

The world-renowned brand Napoléon will now be bottled in Georgia. The project will be carried out by Winery Kachreti in partnership with one of France"s most well-known and traditional distilleries, Tessendier & Fils.

Prime Minister of Georgia together with Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, members of the Government, and MPs, visited the Winery Kachreti wine and brandy factory today.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the partnership between Georgian and French companies is further confirmation of foreign investors` trust in Georgia`s business climate and its state institutions.

"We are proud of our winemaking and viticulture traditions. We are proud that Georgia is a historic and traditional cradle of winemaking, while France is the homeland of cognac. I believe this fascinating synthesis will bring the highest quality product made here in Georgia. For me, this cooperation is yet another proof that foreign investors and companies have confidence in Georgia`s business environment, our legislation and our state institutions. The Government of Georgia will continue to do everything to further support such partnerships with foreign companies", - said the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Guests of the event were also addressed by Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture David Songhulashvili, Executive Director of Tessendier & Fils Distillery Jérôme Tessendier and Director of Winery Kachreti Natia Karichashvili.

The Head of Government of Georgia, accompanied by the Speaker of Parliament, government officials, MPs and representatives of local authorities, toured Winery Kachreti.
