The international airports of Georgia handled 2,182,811 passengers in January - April 2025 - 13% more, compared to the same period in 2024 (1,936,381 passengers).

Besides, according to the United Airports of Georgia, the number of flights also rose by 16%, reaching 9,908 flights (January - April 2024 - 8,554).

“Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airport served 1,442,525 passengers and handled 7,283 flights, marking a 13% rise in passenger traffic (2024 - 1,278,447 passengers) and a 17% in flights (2024 - 6,235).

Kutaisi David Agmashenebeli International Airport recorded 506,564 passengers and 1,533 flights, with a 2.3% growth in passengers (2024 - 495,235). Flight numbers remained unchanged.

Batumi Alexander Kartveli International Airport handled 233,722 passengers and 1,092 flights, showing a 43.7% increase in passenger traffic (2024 - 162,699) and a 36.7% rise in flights (2024 - 779).

In April 2025 alone, Georgian airports served 648,168 passengers and conducted 2,846 flights, up 24% and 19% respectively from April 2024 (521,139 passengers, 2,399 flights).

Tbilisi Airport served 424,907 passengers and 2,066 flights in April - a 17% increase in passengers (April 2024 - 364,511) and a 15% rise in flights (April 2024 - 1,794).

Kutaisi Airport set a record for monthly traffic - 145,137 passengers and 423 flights, up 49% and 28% respectively from April 2024 (97,220 passengers, 330 flights).

Batumi Airport welcomed 78,124 passengers, managed 357 flights, showing a 32% growth in passengers and a 30% increase in flights compared to April 2024 (59,408 passengers, 275 flights)”, - reads the statement of the United Airports of Georgia.
