Mzia Amaghlobeli was transferred to a penitentiary institution - her health condition is satisfactory

Mzia Amaghlobeli, founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti online newspapers, has been transferred from the VivaMedi Clinic to a penitentiary institution.

Her lawyers already confirmed this information.

Amaghlobeli was admitted to the clinic for medical examinations on February, 4. She ended hunger strike on 18 February.

Arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer, the Batumi City Court sentenced Mzia Amaghlobeli to imprisonment as a preventive measure on 14 January.
