We are focused on our national agenda. Such a statement the Prime Minister of Georgia made today in Brussels.
As he noted, the Association Agenda agreed upon with the European Union is also a part of this agenda.
“If we look at the level of fulfillment of the obligations under the Association Agreement, at a certain stage it stood at around 60-65%. Today, however, this figure exceeds 90%. This means that despite all the challenges existing with the European bureaucracy, we are moving forward and continuing to fulfill the obligations under the European integration agenda. At the same time, we are strengthening our internal system and democratic institutions, and paying special attention to the development of Georgia’s economy. We understand very well that ultimately, when a particular country joins the European Union, the economy will be one of the main criteria, and I will repeat once again - in terms of economic growth, Georgia ranks first in Europe”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
