The Georgian side has once again stated that we are ready for dialogue with the EU on all issues - Botchorishvili

The Prime Minister of Georgia participated in the EU Enlargement Summit in Brussels. At the event organized by Euronews, Irakli Kobakhidze once again called on the EU`s top leaders for dialogue.

According to the Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs, it is in Brussels` interest to listen to Georgia. Maka Botchorishvili stated that the Georgian side has once again confirmed that Georgia is ready for dialogue with the European Union on all issues.

"There is an interest in Brussels, there is an interest to some extent in the European Union, to listen to Georgia, and this, of course, was a good opportunity for the Prime Minister of Georgia. This opportunity, this invitation, was used for us to participate in the event dedicated to the topic of EU enlargement, which was organized by Euronews. Naturally, the format itself does not allow for focus to be placed on every single issue, however, the questions that were raised were answered by the Georgian side, and most importantly, the Georgian side voiced the position we have regarding dialogue and conversation.

We need an open conversation with the European Union on all those issues that, it can be said, the EU perceives as problematic, or that are important to them in this very process. Therefore, it was important that the Georgian side once again registered our position regarding openness and readiness - that we are ready to talk and engage in dialogue with the European Union on any issue that could be on the agenda of our relations", - said Maka Botchorishvili.
