The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Shio III, visited the Khoni and Samtredia Diocese. The Patriarch celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the King David Aghmashenebeli Cathedral, which was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the eparchy’s renewal and the 15th anniversary of the cathedral’s consecration.

The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, and the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, are also present in Samtredia.

Later today, the Saint Philimon Koridze Chanting School will open. The Patriarch will also travel to Khoni.
