A strong diplomatic service is a reliable pillar of a strong state. The Prime Minister of Georgia said this during his speech at the solemn event dedicated to the Day of Georgian Diplomacy.

As he noted, achieving state goals on the international arena is impossible without the tireless work of each diplomat.

"Based on experience, strengthened by the new generation, and future-oriented, Georgian diplomacy successfully continues to protect the country’s sovereignty and national interests. For your dignified activity, patriotism, and professionalism, I extend special thanks to all of you who serve this cause.

Thank you to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the leadership and employees of the Ministry, Ambassadors, Attachés, and the staff of consular institutions and our representations to international organizations. Each of you deserves special thanks for protecting our state interests and our national interests.
