In connection with Easter, all penitentiary institutions under the Special Penitentiary Service will commence receiving parcels for detainees and convicts.

Parcels will be accepted at the penitentiary facilities from 10:00 to 18:00 on April 8 - 9.

"The permitted food items that detainees or convicts may receive in parcel form include:

3 kg of fried or boiled meat;
one portion of boiled chicken and one of fried chicken;
2 kg of cheese;
3 pieces each of khachapuri and lobiani;
two Paskas;
10 red eggs;
a cake;
cucumbers and tomatoes - 3 kg each.
