The State Flag flown at half-mast at the Government Administration of Georgia

In commemoration of the 18th anniversary of the 2008 Russia-Georgia war, the state flag is flown at half-mast at the building of the Administration of the Government of Georgia as a mark of respect and tribute to the memory of those who lost their lives.

Pursuant to a Decree of the Government of Georgia signed by Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia state flags have been flown at half-mast on the buildings of all administrative bodies throughout the country in honour of the memory of those who died as a result of Russia`s large-scale military intervention in Georgia aimed at the illegal occupation of Georgia`s Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions.
