The leader of “Droa”, Elene Khoshtaria, has been sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison. The decision was announced by Judge Giorgi Arevadze.
Police detained Khoshtaria on September 15, 2025, for damaging Kakha Kaladze’s election banner. She was charged under the part I of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies “damaging someone else’s property that caused significant harm”.
In this case, Khoshtaria had been ordered to pay a prison bail in the amount of GEL 5,000 as a preventive measure, which she refused to pay, after which the politician was detained.
